Certified in 1983,  Michael enjoys sharing his passion for the ocean by training new divers and through his underwater photography. 

Michael applies the naui "loved one" concept to all of his training. prior to issuing a certification card he must answer one very important question:  "would I allow this person to dive with, or teach, somebody I love?"  he is committed to spending as much time as necessary to train safe, competent, and confident divers.

​as a firm believer that a good diver is always learning, he takes several classes per year himself not only to expand the breadth, and depth, of his diving activities, but to enhance the quality of training he provides. 

when not training, Michael can be found inching over our local reefs in search of macro photo subjects such as nudibranchs and other tiny critters. He enjoys dive travel, especially to the Mayan Riviera to dive cenotes, as well as other warm water destinations.
