ADVANCED OPEN WATER
Not all diving is created equal. Get a taste of the different types of diving with the Advanced Open Water Class.
In the Advanced Open Water Class, students will complete 5 different types of dives (one being Underwater Navigation, another being a Deep Dive, and 3 more of the student's choice). Students are required to be Open Water Certified prior to registering for the Advanced Class. All 5 dives will be conducted in the ocean. |

- STEPS FOR THE COURSE:
STEP 1: Register for Class
Click the button below to Purchase the Advanced Open Water class. The Advanced Open Water cost is $399.00 per person. Once purchased, contact us at the shop (909-596-2505) and we will email you some quick paperwork to fill out as well as your online E-learning "homework" code. Participants must be ages 12 years old and over, be in reasonably good health, and have adequate swimming ability.
STEP 2: Homework
The online, electronic learning (E-Learning) is the independent studies portion of the class where the student completes the knowledge development (theory) before moving forward to the open water. This "homework" as it is commonly called, is at your own pace, though is approximately 8 hours worth of material and includes an interactive study, end of chapter quizzes and knowledge reviews.
STEP 3: Applying Skills
Once the student completes the E-Learning homework, they will move to the ocean under the supervision of the instructor. Students are required to complete 5 different types of dives over the course of a minimum of 2 days. Of these 5 dives, one must be a Deep Dive and another must be a Navigation Dive, but the other 3 are decided by the student (available choices are shown in the E-Learning course list).
STEP 4: You're Done!
Congratulations Certified Diver!
At this step, the student has successfully completed the 5 Advanced dives, improved and refined their underwater skills, and has earned the stamp-of-approval from their instructor. The student will receive a certification card indicating that they are an Advanced Diver with an accredited Scuba agency. |
